Johnsons Tomato Shirley F1 Seeds, Popular established greenhouse variety. Disease resistant. Apply a liquid feed every 2-3 weeks when first trusses have set.

For indoor sowingWhen January to In pots or trays of seed Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 7-14 Remove cover when seedlings appear. When approx. 10cm tall, transplant to individual pots. Grow on at approx. 15°C. Transplant to growing position in grow bags or large pots in the greenhouse in April to May. Pinch out side shoots regularly and growing tips once 6-7 trusses have set. Provide support. Keep moist and weed June to October.

Greenhouse favourite, resistant to leaf mould virus and greenback. Early, with medium fruits on large trusses. Indeterminate type, requires support.
