Description
The dreamy Kalanchoe beharensis. This special specimen has many thick branches, with a full crown of its distinct felt leaves.
Kalanchoe beharensis is a bushy succulent with felt like triangular leaves which are large, concave and greyish. This plant has a meandering growth habit and will have beautiful leaf scars on its light coloured trunk. A really special specimen.
WATERING
In S/S water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out (this may be more frequent during hot, warm weather). In A/W allow the soil to dry 100%, water sparingly (every two months or so). In spring, gradually increase watering (depending on temperature and light exposure).
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a house plant fertiliser every month between April – September.
REPOTTING
Re-pot once per year for the first few years, then every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining cactus and succulent potting mix, adding additonal drainage mediums such as gravel, pumice or perlite.
