Description
Labisia is a small genus of plants growing in tropical areas ranging from Indo-China to West Malaysia. The distinct foliage of Labisia ‘Turtle Back’ resembles a turtle shell, hence the name, with bright green venation and raised patches of deep red-green. New foliage emerges burgundy, then fading into darker shades.
WATERING
Water when the top 30% of the soil is dry. Keep humidity high.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2 – 4 weeks from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot roughly every 1-1.5 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
