We are delighted to be offering this truly spectacular flower, considered by some to be the most beautiful climbing plant in the world. This is the Chilean national flower. It can grow outside in a sheltered spot but will be better inside.
How to sow and grow Lapageria from Seed
Sow as soon as you receive, covering thinly (5mm deep) in a pot of good compost in a warm bright position. Keep moist. It is very slow to germinate, but no heat is needed as germination happens at cold temperatures. Germination usually takes place in December or January
