Description
Very dense, evergreen hedge with up to 20cm (8ins) long leathery green leaves with attractive yellow variegation. Tolerant of shade and atmospheric pollution, and holds its bright variegation in shade. In spring it has small, red-purple erect spikes of flowers which are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, and pollinated female plants bear large red fruits in autumn.
