Description
Sow seeds in mid-March to mid-April in modules or trays undercover.
Sow 1cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover.
Keep soil moist and the seeds should germinate in 10-14 days.
Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, maintaining bright, cool conditions.
Transplant outdoors from May to June, spacing plants 1015 cm apart in rows 30 cm apart.
Harvest from August-December when stems are thick, tender, and fully developed.
