Description
Sow indoors between February-March in a wellprepared seedbed.
Sow the seeds thinly on the surface of moist soil and lightly cover.
Keep at 16c and germination will occur within 10-20 days under cool conditions.
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots.
After the risk of frost has passed, plant them outside.
Space plants about 15cm apart.
Water regularly in dry spells until established, but avoid waterlogging.
Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering.
Leave some seed heads if you want natural selfseeding for the following season.
