Description
Elegant, small, deciduous tree with graceful arching branches. Fern-like leaves, glossy dark-green above, grey-green beneath, turn orange to bronze-red in autumn giving a splendid display. White flowers in late spring which are nectar and pollen rich and which are followed by pendulous clusters of fruits ripening to rose-red in September, changing to pink then white-flushed-pink. These are good food for birds. Charming and suitable for smaller gardens. Prefers acid to neutral soil.
