Newclay’s most recently introduced modelling clay, NovaClay, was developed especially for the educational market as a budget alternative to Newclay for cost-conscious schools so it is especially suitable for use by children.
NovaClay is a soft and easy to use air-drying modelling clay that can also be kiln-fired.
NovaClay is available in ‘stone’ and ‘terracotta’ versions, both fibre-reinforced for added strength and fibre-free for those who prefer their modelling clay in a more natural form.
Not all variations are currently available. More products will be introduced in due course, as demand dictates.
Whilst originally formulated for use with Newclay, Hardeners (H1 or H2) will work with NovaClay as well.
For best results, finished pieces can be decorated with a good quality ceramic or acrylic paint and finished with Newclay Gloss or Newclay Satin.
