Description
Sow sparingly indoors from 8 weeks before the last frost date.
Barely cover the seeds.
Plant out when large enough to handle 6in between plants in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil.
Leaves can be harvested for fresh use throughout the summer, but the flavor is best just before flowering.
To dry, cut the stems just as the flowers start to open and hang in small bunches.
