Bath Asparagus Asparagaceae
A bulbous perennial with attractive spikes of cream star-shaped flowers in late spring. Collected and eaten as an asparagus substitute near Bath.
Attractive vertical element for a sunny or part-shady position. Drought tolerant. Ht. 1 metre
Once thought to have been introduced by the Romans, but currently believed to be native.
