Description
The Pachira Aquatica Braided Stem more commonly known as the Money Tree, Guiana Chestnut, or the Saba Nut. This plant is notorious for being low maintenance, which makes it ideal for beginner plant owners. Like most house plants, avoid placing this plant in direct sunlight as this puts it at risk of burnt leaves.
This tropical tree thrives near wetlands and swamps, it always needs moist soil. In South America and other warm climates, the Pachira Aquatica is grown for its edible nuts. The most unique feature of the Pachira Aquatica is its braided stem, the upper part of the trunk produces large green leaves.
