Description
A rarely grown compact perennial species in the Valerianaceae family, native to the mountains of Japan. The edges of the leaves are attractively serrated and wide flat plates of long lasting, bright yellow flowers are produced from early summer. Brighten up a dark corner with this unusual plant which dies completely away after flowering .
