Description
Start the seeds indoors, in deep pots or root trainers.
Sow the seeds at a depth of 40-50mm and place them at a temperature of 13-18c.
Germination should occur between 7-10 days.
Gradually acclimatise the seedlings once two sets of true leaves have been developed.
Alternatively, directly sow outdoors in drills between March-June.
As the seedlings grow, thin them to 60cm apart.
Regularly weed and water the area as needed.
The stem may require some support.
Harvest when the pods begin to swell.
To promote continued cropping, be sure to harvest regularly.
