‘Celebrity’ is the go-to peony for instant glamour. The flowers are bold and generous, packed with layers of raspberry pink petals and highlighted by creamy white splashes in the centre that make each bloom look hand painted. Buds swell and open in May and June, carrying the display from late spring into early summer. The habit is naturally tidy, reaching up to 80cm tall with a rounded shape. It fits happily in borders and performs brilliantly in a large patio pot.

Growing it is straightforward. Choose fertile, well-drained soil and a sunny position with some shelter from strong winds.
