Description
Two layers of large, round, slightly crumpled taffeta-like petals open apricot-orange with a golden glow. These create a wide, shallow bowl that with age, fades to soft yellow. In the centre sits a ring of long, bright yellow stamens that is framed by an amazingly large, deep red star. Strong stems hold the flowers just above bushy shrub of mid-green leaves. The flower is also nicely perfumed.
