Description
A round shrub of handsome big leaves produces large, semi-double, cupped flowers of mid-pink. In the centre sits a tight ring of yellow stamens that opening into a ring. As the flower ages the petals pale slightly. Introduced by Bernard Chow, an Australian peony breeder who lived in central Melbourne and raised many woody peonies on a small piece of land behind the family shop. Nice peony scent.
