Description
One of Professor Saunders’ early yellow woody peonies, the big, single, rich yellow flowers open in profusion on a large bush with deeply divided, lush green leaves. With time the flowers fade to lemon, showing off the central star of maroon which encase a ring of lemon stamens. This is rather like a more glamorous version of Paeonia ludlowii with bigger flowers.
