Description
There are only tow yellow-flowered species peonies, this one and Paeonia mlokosewitschii. This has very pale yellow or creamy-white petals that open to form a cup. In the centre the rather floppy, yellow stamens are borne on red filaments. The straight stems bear large, mid-green, slightly glossy leaflets. Like Paeonia mlokosewitschii, the flowers are fleeting
