A hardy Pilea sp. from Taiwan. Forming a glossy understory in a shady position. Giving a tropical effect. A Patrick Blanc collection. Usually reaching 50 cm. The deep veining gives the leaves a look similar to Cinnamomum. Best overwintered with a mulch. Organic rich soil that is moisture retentive.
