Description
A bushy, evergreen, hardy fern with an upright ‘shuttlecock’ shape, known as Japanese tassel fern. A Polystichum polyblepharum produces yellow-green fronds with golden scales, which mature to a dark green with silver scales on the stem and midrib. This plant is best suited to shaded areas such as in woodland areas or cottage gardens.
Low maintenance plant that thrives in partial shade or full sun. Thrives in well-drained or drier soil, such as sand or chalk.
