Portulacaria afra ‘Medio-Picta’

Description

This little Portulacaria tree is a slow growing succulent with bright red stems adorned with yellow, green, white and pink leaves, it is easy to see where it gets its common name the ‘rainbow bush’ from. If you are lacking in space but want a little something colourful, this is the one for you.

WATERING

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering – depending on temperature and light exposure.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

FEED

Use a cactus feed from March – November every other time you water.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years using cactus and succulent compost with added drainage.
