Portulacaria afra ‘Variegata’

Description

The Portulacaria afra ‘Variegata’ is a slow growing succulent tree. It has distinctive reddish brown stems which are adorned with little light green and cream leaves. If you are lacking in space but want a little something special, this is the one for you.

WATERING

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every month). In spring gradually increase watering – depending on temperature and light exposure.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

FEED

Use a cacti and succulent feed once a month from April – September.

REPOTTING

Repot in spring every 2-3 years to replenish the soil. Use a cactus and succulent potting mix with added drainage, such as perlite or pumice.
