Description
Prunus Snow Goose is an ornamental, flowering cherry tree with a narrow, upright-growing habit and glossy, green leaves, that turn to red/bronze hues in Autumn. This variety of ornamental cherry is slightly larger than many other varieties and produces masses of soft, pure white flowers in Spring.
Snow Goose does particularly well in a position with full sun, but can also grow in partial shade. The plant tolerates any soil types but will thrive best in a chalky soil. The tree can be left to its own devices, however, it will display a more balanced shape, if it is pruned for the first couple of years.
