Description
The Rhipsalis genus can be found in tropical Central and South America, alongside the Caribbean. As a member of the cactus family it varies greatly from its relatives, growing on the bark of trees in rainforests. Slender fleshy cylindrical stems trail down, able to reach several metres in length. Rhipsalis blooms appear on mature plants, emerging all over the stems with small pale flowers which are then followed by plump berries.
