Description
Rhododendron Scarlet Wonder is a gorgeous garden shrub that stays true to its name – it guarantees a wonderful display of funnel shaped, scarlet-red flowering in Spring. This plant has a mound-forming, spreading habit, whilst also forming a dense, round bush shape. Its dark green, ovate foliage is evergreen, giving the plant year-round interest and ensuring its striking flowerheads are always joined by the perfect contrast.
This plant is ideal for adding a burst of colour into a pot or container on its own. It is also an attractive way to complement other flowers within bedding, borders or plant displays.
Rhododendrons are low maintenance shrubs. Place them in partial shade. They will tolerate most soils that are kept moist and well-drained. Water them well until established, then maintain regular watering afterwards.
