Rhododendron Taurus

Description

Rhododendron Taurus is a beautiful, fully hardy, evergreen shrub with dense, leathery, deep-green foliage. From late Spring to early Summer, this plant produces large trusses of trumpet shaped, true red flowers that are subtly marked with deep red flecks.

Plant this shrub in a shallow plot, in a position with dappled to partial shade. Grow in a moist, well drained, humus-rich soil. This plant thrives best acidic/ericaceous soils and will not tolerate alkaline/limey soils. This low-maintenance shrub is the perfect addition to any type of garden, bed or border.
