Thimbleberry Rosaceae

Spineless lightly suckering shrub to 1.5m with large palmate leaves and large white flowers. Producing bright red flat raspberry-like fruit in late summer. N W USA.

We were given this by the late Bill Baker from his garden in Tidmarsh, Berkshire in the mid 1990s. It displays one of the largest flowers in the genus.
