Description
Strong tall stems bearing many large golden flowers with sizeable, black, protruding centre cones appear from early summer right into autumn. An impressive and valuable flower to give colour to the back of the border, this hardy perennial grows between 1.2m and 1.8m tall. A member of the Compositae with other names such as Cutleaf Coneflower, Green-head coneflower and Wild Goldenglow, its seeds per gram is approximately 200 per gram.
