Schefflera arboricola

Description

Scheffleras are just brilliant plants, they don’t ask for much, a little light and a little water and they will get on with things. This striking trunk paired with a bubble of compacted luscious leaves injects instant greenery into a space. This indoor tree is strangely airy and can really lift a gloomy corner.

WATERING

In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. A good tip to remember – if your plant is getting less light then it will need less water.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect. Shade tolerant.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2 years or alternatively replace the top 10cm of the soil with fresh house plant compost every year.
