Description
A colourful and highly distinctive evergreen succulent from the Chick Charms® series of Sempervivum, the ‘Gold Nugget’ is a variety of Hens & Chicks with blazing foliage, its leaves a bright yellow tipped with red to give it a fiery feel from the cooler Autumn and Winter months right into the Spring where it starts to shift to hues of green. A hardy perennial with a great range of planting options such as sandy rockeries or wall planting.
Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full sun in a sheltered or exposed position. Tolerates most locations, conditions and soil types. Prefers gritty, free draining soil mixes. Highly drought resistant. Susceptible to Winter wet and waterlogged areas.
