Senshyu onion is one of the original Japanese overwintering types and has been a longstanding success. This dependable main crop delivers semi-flat bulbs with straw yellow skins in good quantities. Height: 18 inches, or 45 cm. Spread: 6 inches, or 15 cm.
Grow onions with mint as a companion plant to disorient and discourage onion flies.
