Skirret Apiaceae
A herbaceous clump-forming perennial that has been grown for its edible sweet roots. Produces masses of white umbels in mid-summer. Easily grown in full sun. Roots can be harvested over the winter. Thought to be originally from China but widely spread. Ht 1.5-1.8 metres
