Description
Sorbaria sorbifolia ‘Sem’ is a deciduous, thicket-forming compact shrub. This variety has numerous upright stems with distinctive yellow/green coloured leaves, the foliage is flushed with bronze during the spring before turning to a reddish-pink during the summer. The foliage is accompanied by small, erect white flowers appearing in narrow panicles during the summer. These plants look their best in good light, so choose an area in your garden that gets the most sun and they will thrive while looking fantastic at the height of summer. An extremely hardy variety, it can survive in harsh conditions, and it will take to most types of soil so long as it is well-drained.
