Description
Sow the seeds indoors on moist soil at a depth of 10mm, 6-8 weeks before the last frost.
Gently compress the soil and place it in a bright location, between 12-18c.
Water as necessary and the seeds should germinate between 7-14 days.
Once 4-5 true leaves have developed, transplant the seedlings into their final growing position.
Space the plants between 60cm apart.
Then cover with netting to prevent pests.
Harvest the stems at 10-15cm, when they are still compacted and firm.
