Description
Evergreen twining climber with glossy, dark green leaves, 10cm (4ins) long, which give a marvellous foil to the waxy, five petalled, extremely sweetly scented white flowers which appear in mid to late summer. In winter the leaves turn an attractive bronze-red. Outside, grow in a sheltered sunny, warm position not prone to severe frosts, or it will make a wonderful scented conservatory plant. Prefers neutral to alkaline soils. Height up to 8.5m (28ft), spread 3m (10ft).
