Description
French Sorrel Rumex scutatus
The bright green leaves have a sharp acidic flavour that is lessened on cooking. It is used in salads, fish dishes and soups. It grows to a height of 60cm.
Sow the seeds thinly outside in early spring in shallow drills no deeper than 12mm, 30cm apart. Cover lightly with soil and water well.
