Description
Sow directly outdoors between March and May, 12mm deep.
Alternatively, sow seeds indoors in individual pots.

Gradually acclimatise the seedlings to outdoor conditions before planting out, after the risk of frost has passed.
Protect young seedlings from slugs and snails, especially during early growth.
