Description
Sow seeds from late January to mid-March in modules or small pots undercover.
Sow 0.51 cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover.
Maintain a temperature of 20-25c.
The seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
Pot on seedlings when large enough to handle, keeping them in warm, bright conditions.
Transplant to their final position between May to early June.
Plant in individual pots or space 45-60cm apart.
The stem may require some support.
Water regularly and feed when flowering.
Harvest from August to October when fruits are 3-4 inches or turn red.
