Tetrastigma voinierianum

Description

Native to Laos and Vietnam, Tetrastigma voinierianum is a vigorous climber in its natural habitat. Large, glossy green leaves are covered in tiny hairs and small bumps across the surface. Commonly known as the ‘Chestnut Vine’, provide it with something to climb on, as it will emerge with thin tendrils to cling on to supports. Its easy going nature makes this a perfect plant to add luscious greenery to a shady corner.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once every month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years.
