Carefully selected by our team of experts, the Blooming Bulb collection will bring an array of blues and purples, along with different textures to your pots or garden border. These varieties are despatched in autumn, the optimum time for planting, and will burst into life come spring, flowering well into the summer. They are also low maintenance and easy to grow.
The Blooming Bulb Collection contains the following varieties:
- Allium sphaerocephalon (50 Bulbs): Later flowering than most with many dark coloured “bullet” shaped flowers appearing in July and August. Very easy to grow and long lasting.
- Anemone blanda Blue Shades (20 Bulbs): The gorgeous blue shades of this delightful anemone will make a stunning, early spring carpet of colour in your beds and borders. A great one for naturalising, especially in shaded or wooded areas.
- Muscari armeniacum (20 Bulbs): Also known as the Armenian grape hyacinth, this is the most common of all Muscari. It’s very robust and will naturalise quickly in beds and borders. Beautiful deep blue, almost heliotrope coloured flowers are delicately fringed in pure white at the ends.
