Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Quadricolor’

Description

Loved for their sweetly-striped elliptical leaves, trailing Tradescantias make for the ideal hanging plant, growing easily and quickly with long cascading vines. If you’re after a little splash of colour, the ‘Quadricolour’ is the perfect plant for this, with a technicolour dreamcoat of pink, white, purple and green leaves.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot in spring when roots are growing through the drainage holes. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
