Tradescantia zebrina Purple Joy

Description

This striking Tradescantia has a trailing growth habit, spreading outward and eventually tumbling down. The leaves have dark green and grey centres flanked by large stripes of shining silver, with bright purple undersides.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot in spring when roots are growing through the drainage holes. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
