About the urban tree pack

No matter what the size of your plot or whether you’re in the middle of a town or city, trees can deliver a range of benefits. From much-needed space for wildlife and boosting health and wellbeing for people to absorbing pollution, they’re a great choice for any urban space.

This pack contains 15 trees – subsidised by the Woodland Trust and our partners* – that are perfect for creating more green space in an urban area, from your own garden to the wider community.

Each pack is specific to a region, so we recommend you choose the variety closest to your location. Choose from:

England
5 x field maple, 5 x hazel, 5 x crab apple.

Upland UK
5 x silver birch, 5 x hazel, 5 x rowan.

Scotland
5 x silver birch, 5 x hazel, 5 x rowan.

Wales and the West of England
5 x silver birch, 5 x crab apple, 5 x rowan.

Reduces risk of spreading pests and diseases.
Delivered in 100% recyclable LDPE (low-density polyethylene) wrap.

Tree protection options

It’s important to consider if your saplings need protection, particularly from browsing mammals. You can choose to purchase tree protection alongside your saplings.

Choose from:

No tree protection
Choose this if your saplings are unlikely to be affected by browsing mammals, or if you have alternative plans for tree protection. For example, browsing reduction or fencing.

Easywrap and canes
Easywrap and canes are perfect for protecting your trees when smaller mammals may be a risk.

Tubes and stakes
Provides protection from small and large mammals. Tubes will also promote quicker upward growth.
