Description
A select form of Viburnum tinus which is a dense, compact, bushy, fast growing evergreen shrub with dark green leaves. Clusters of carmine buds opening to white, tinged pink flowers over a long period from November to April followed by dark blue-black berries. This variety makes a good, fast growing are a large family of both evergreen and deciduous shrubs, sometimes small trees, with white or pink, sometimes heavily fragrant flowers, which are often followed by small red, black or blue fruits. Most are fully hardy and are suitable for a shrub border or a woodland garden and should be grown in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
