Walk In Aluminium Fruit & Veg Cages with no Netting provide a strong and spacious framework designed to protect fruit and vegetable crops from birds, butterflies and other animals, while giving you full flexibility to create your own netting solution. This option supplies the complete cage structure only, offering a versatile base for building a tailored crop protection system in your kitchen garden.

Standing at 1.9m (6ft 3in) high, the cage provides generous headroom, allowing you to walk in comfortably and work around your crops with ease. The durable aluminium framework is connected using robust UV stabilised joiners, ensuring a strong and stable structure throughout the growing season. Every cage includes a door, which can be fitted on any side to suit your garden layout and access requirements.

Each kit is supplied complete with poles, ground anchors and fixings to support straightforward assembly and secure installation. Ground anchors provide added stability and ease of erection. This version includes No Netting – Just frame and joiners are supplied, giving complete freedom to select the most suitable protection for your crops. For exposed or windy locations, additional reinforcement can be achieved using corner brace bars.

The roof is supplied as a separate section, allowing it to be easily removed if snow is forecast. In cases of extremely heavy winds, it is advisable to dismantle the structure to prevent damage.

Tubing specifications: external diameter 19mm, internal diameter 17.2mm, wall thickness 0.9mm, providing dependable strength and durability. Full instructions and a diagram are included with every cage to support easy construction.
