Description
Start the seeds indoors between December-April or August-September.
Sow the seeds on the surface of moist compost and lightly cover.
Place in a warm area at a constant temperature of 20-25c.
The seeds will germinate in 7-14 days.
Once the seedlings are 5-7cm, transplant into individual pots.
Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
When the seedlings are 13cm, pinch out the growing point.
Plant out once the risk of frost has passed in their final position, 30cm apart.
Remove the plants at the end of spring once flowering has finished
Replace with annuals for a succession of colour.
