Description
Weigela ‘Bristol Ruby’ is an upright bushy deciduous easy-to-grow shrub. This variety boasts lovely ovate dark green leaves from spring to autumn, these leaves are accompanied by dark crimson, bell shaped flowers that last throughout summer. These flowers give off a fantastic colour and their scent is highly attractive to pollinators such as bees. This is a very hardy plant, it can survive cold climates and will thrive in any type of well-drained soil. They prefer fully sunny positions in the garden but they are just fine in partially shady spots.
