Description
A bushy, deciduous shrub with bursts of colour throughout the seasons. The Weigela ‘Magical Rainbow’ is a more compact plant with widely ovate green leaves with cream-yellow margins from Spring which gain touches of pink as it progresses into Summer. Clusters of dark pink buds appear all through the foliage and bloom into trumpet-shaped light pink flowers from late Spring through to Summer. A great option for patio pots or garden borders.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Tolerates full shade but this may impact growth and flowering. Once established, prune every year after flowering to encourage fresh, healthy growth.
