x Semponium ‘Mrs Frosty’

Description

A dense rosette of deep purple pointed leaves with a light green centre sits atop a slender stem of × Semponium ‘Mrs Frosty’. This intergeneric cross between Aeonium and Sempervivum makes for a hardy succulent, with all the distinct features of more tender Aeoniums.

WATERING

In S/S water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out (this may be more frequent during hot, warm weather). In A/W allow the soil to dry 100%, water sparingly (every two months or so). In spring, gradually increase watering (depending on temperature and light exposure).

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

FEED

Use a succulent fertiliser every month between April – September.

REPOTTING

Re-pot once per year for the first few years, then every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining cactus and succulent potting mix, adding additional drainage mediums such as gravel, pumice or perlite.
